I believe we should all take the time to think about what we are after, what we haven't found or done, then work on accomplishing that.

And when it comes to using metal detectors, a lot of folks out there have them, but I don't think the majority of them have devoted the time to "learn their arsenal better."

Tom's comment is a great reminder for all detecting enthusiasts, beginners to experienced, to spend more time, outdoors as well as doing a little indoor learnin', to better understand their detectors as well as search coils in their inventory.

Thanks for the reminder, Tom, and I hope hobbyists will dedicate some time alone with their detector to make friends with it and know it better.
