I got permission to hunt an empty 1910s era school building, and it is absolutely trashed out, with rusty nails, coal, broken glass, bottlecaps, and other junk littering the surface. It was tough sledding, but with the Racer 2 and the OOR coil, I was able to pick out some goodies, including a silver Rosie, nice token, brass button, old headstamp, and a '28 wheat in less than an hour. I know this place has been hunted previously, but the Racer 2 IMO is the ideal detector for this kind of site, able to laser in on a single coin-sized target surrounded on four sides by other competing signals. I'll report back as I continue to work this site. Love my Makro.
